Sacha Martiny holds a B.S. in Biochemistry with a minor in Biomedical Research from UCLA. He brings experience in molecular biology and proteomics from his time in the Wohlschlegel Lab, where he investigated the role of ubiquitin ligase FBXL5 in iron and oxygen homeostasis using bottom up mass spectrometry based proteomics. His work contributed to the development of experimental workflows for identifying low-abundance proteins, and he is passionate about applying rigorous research methods to uncover insights with therapeutic impact.
