Top Statistical Results Update: Finding the Most Significant Shifts from Baseline

November 14, 2025

‘Top Statistical Results’ was built to solve a major challenge in immune profiling for clinical trials: large cytometry datasets contain thousands of possible comparisons, and important signals can go unnoticed unless you know exactly where to look. Top Statistical Results automatically tests all comparisons across populations, markers, analysis types, and endpoints, then surfaces the top 100 most statistically significant results.

We do not stop there. You can feed that list of 100 results into your AI-powered Pocket Immunologist and start answering questions like: Which of these signals matter most? What do they suggest about the study’s mechanism of action? Which shifts could correlate with outcomes? It synthesizes the strongest findings and gives you clear scientific context for each result.

This update extends that capability with a new baseline-only mode, giving researchers a direct view of how each marker or population shifts from the start of the study.

What is new

  • ‘Baseline Only’ tab: Every population and marker is now tested directly against baseline, returning magnitude and p-value for each result.
  • Longitudinal clarity: Quickly see how markers and populations shift from the start of the study, which is essential for understanding early pharmacodynamic effects.
  • Two complementary views - ‘All Pairwise’: Use the new Baseline Only tab to anchor results to the start of the study, and the existing All Pairwise tab to explore shifts across intermediate and later timepoints.

How it works

  • Comprehensive group comparison: All combinations of populations × markers × analysis types × endpoints are tested with appropriate statistical methods.
  • Ranked output: The top 100 results are automatically ranked by p-value and displayed with fold changes.
  • Clear results: Results appear in a sortable table, with columns for Population, Marker, Analysis Type, Magnitude, P-Value, and Endpoint.
  • Flexible analysis: Supports multiple types of readouts, including population frequency, marker expression, absolute cell counts, and functional subset frequencies.

Available now

Baseline-only comparisons are now live in the Summary tab of the Teiko Dashboard. Together with the ‘All Pairwise’ comparisons, this update gives scientists a fast and complete view of the most meaningful immune differences in their datasets, whether they are looking for early changes from baseline or differences across later timepoints.
