Teiko expands TokuKit-validated antibody clone library to 120 unique markers for human and NHP cytometry panels

June 7, 2026

Teiko today announced an expansion of its validated antibody clone library, now spanning 120 unique markers and 170 validated clones for profiling human and NHP samples by mass cytometry and spectral flow cytometry. Every clone is validated on fixed samples—either TokuKit-fixed whole blood or PFA-fixed PBMCs—confirming performance in the same sample types used in clinical trials.

Why fixed sample validation matters

A panel optimized for fresh whole blood won't necessarily work on a fixed sample. One of the hardest parts of panel development for fixed whole blood workflows is finding an antibody clone whose epitope stays accessible after fixation. Every clone in this library has been confirmed at Teiko to bind its target on fixed whole blood and stain like fresh—so the epitope is accessible and the clone is compatible from the start.

What if I am running my own cytometry assay?

Teams have two options:

  1. Those with an existing panel can send it to Teiko for a clone compatibility review against the validated clone list, with support to troubleshoot any challenging markers.
  2. Those starting from scratch can work from Teiko's fully optimized panels, with clones and staining concentrations included.

In both cases, Teiko works alongside teams to optimize for their specific markers, assay, and instrument setup.

Human and NHP coverage

Across both human and NHP, the antibody library covers:

  • T cells
  • B cells
  • NK cells
  • Myeloid populations
  • Granulocytes, including neutrophils
  • Transcription factors
  • Functional markers — activation, exhaustion, cytotoxicity, and proliferation

In total, that's 111 human markers for mass cytometry, 24 for spectral flow cytometry, and 44 NHP markers validated for mass cytometry in rhesus and cynomolgus monkeys.
