Teiko launches rapid, low-cost configurable cytometry assays for clinical immune monitoring

Teiko today announced configurable immune monitoring assays, available on teiko-labs.com/design. Sponsors can run any of 12K pre-validated assay configurations in days, priced in the mid-hundreds per sample, instead of overpaying for oversized assays or waiting months for custom builds.

These assays are designed for the “Goldilocks” issue of clinical trials. CROs have assays that are “too big” for a trial’s needs, or “too small.”

What does that mean, in practice?

If the assays are too big:

• Sponsors ending up spending money on full multi-dozen-marker assays that consume scarce budget.

If the assay are too small:

• Catalog assays often don’t have the exact markers required for a clinical trial. This in turns, sets off a “custom assay build”, which can take months and run up six-figure development costs.
